Look below to see a review of what we did in class on Friday.
We will not be having rehearsals during the next two weeks, so our next rehearsal will be on Friday, December 1st. We will then only have one week until the concert! Please be sure to practice at home.
Middle School Orchestra
We began the rehearsal by reviewing the songs we currently know:
- Twinkle, Twinkle
- Rolling Along (Mary Had a Little Lamb)
- Lightly Row
We then worked on Frere Jacques (page 24), which we agreed would be our Middle School Orchestra exclusive song. Please be sure to practice it, especially the 2nd line!
Lastly, we learned Old MacDonald on page 14. This song is really easy and features mostly G’s, so if in doubt, play a G!
Elementary Orchestra
We began the rehearsal by reviewing the songs we currently know:
- Twinkle, Twinkle
- Rolling Along (Mary Had a Little Lamb)
- Baby Shark
- Lightly Row
They are sounding great! We then learned our last concert song, Old MacDonald Had a Farm, found on page 14. This is a pretty easy song, as it is mainly G’s! Please be sure to practice all 5 songs at home because our concert is coming up quickly!
